Being a Chelsea admirer I really cannot bash Madrid for spending money, but I can fault them with picking players who seem to be incapable of playing on a team that dosent have Cristiano Ronaldo. Since the striker was injured against Marseille Madrid have won one, lost one, and drawn one, in spanish league play. I've said from the start that Ronaldo's individual skill is the only thing that keeps Madrid in the title race, but even I was surprised by this seemingly impossible result.
